Judie Lipsett Stanford's Experience:
-
Editor / Consumer Product Reviewer at The Gadgeteer
June 2000 - September 2006I started as an occasional reviewer at The Gadgeteer when it was a much smaller site, basically run single-handedly by its editor-in-chief, Julie Strietelmeier. Within six months I was Julie's writing partner, and for the next six years I had the privilege of being part of something amazing. As part of that team I made a direct contribution to the Gadgeteer's growth from a well regarded enthusiast's site into a world-wide recognized authority on gadgets, gizmos and their accessories. Due to my work at the Gadgeteer, I have earned a solid reputation as a respected gadget reviewer.
-
Co-Owner / Editor in Chief at Gear Diary
September 2006I have had a fascination with all types of gadgets and gizmos since I was a child, beginning with the toy robot that my grandmother gave my brother - which I promptly "relieved him of" in 1973. I have long been captivated by devices that did anything interesting or served a unique purpose - however silly. I can't tell you how everything works - but I am known world-wide for using a product until I have a full understanding of what it does, what its limitations are, and if it excels in any given area...or not.
